This easy to learn technique results in beautiful, original papers that can be used in many ways. Take a look at some of the results below - each one is a unique piece of art.
Welcome the New Year by learning three fun, easy-to-do art techniques!
Shine Art Studio is pleased to offer a ZenDoodling workshop and Paper Marbling Workshop, along with another Stained Glass Paper Workshop. All art techniques
are easy-to-do for people of all ages (with or without previous art
experience).
Zendoodling, Paper Marbling (2 paper marbling techniques using ordinary supplies) and the Stained Glass Paper technique all nurture the creative spiritual journey - stimulate the Muse in the creation of unique cards, envelopes, bookmarks, ATC's, journaling, collage, calligraphy, book coverings, and more - and provide countless hours of gentle relaxation, de-stressing activity, unique meditation and play!

TIME: 10:00 - 2:00 pm at Shine Art Studio in Pioneer Square Mall, Mill Bay
TO BRING: Waterproof pigma black pens "fine" and other sizes optional, waterproof black pen: 'extra fine' and other sizes (Pigma pens are great), watercolours, brush (and/or coloured markers, pastels) and black cardstock.
SUPPLY COST: $3.00 for supplies provided by facilitator

Stained Glass Paper Workshop
DATE: Saturday, March 29, 2014
TIME: 10:00 - 2:00 at Shine Art Studio in Pioneer Square Mall, Mill Bay
TO BRING: Watercolour paper (preferably Arches Text Wove - often available at VIU bookstore), black waterproof ink (best is Sumi Ink), watercolour paints or watercolour pencils, very small pointed brush (and brushes of other sizes - optional), water container, plastic straw (other optionals - different colour inks / sprays).
