WE ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING DROP IN SESSIONS ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS WHERE MANY PROJECTS CAN BE WORKED ON.
REGULARLY SCHEDULED WORKSHOPS WILL BEGIN AGAIN IN FALL 2014.
If you sign up for any workshop valued at over 100.00 AND convince a friend to sign up too you get 20 "TANGERINE DREAM BUCKS." These come in 10 dollar denominations (so you can share with your friend if you like, or not) and can be spent in the gallery or applied to future workshops.
We offer a wide range of workshops, from hand painted table runners, intuitive painting, vision board creating, art journaling, mixed media projects and felted jewelry making, to reverse glass painting, willow furniture making, perfume making, and paper crafts. We also offer weekly drop in sessions, and "create your own" workshops, for friends and family celebrating birthdays, weddings, or just wanting to get together, have some fun, and create.

Hand Painted Table Runner Workshop with Pipi
Pipi
Tustian is well known for her gorgeous hand painted textiles. Join her
in this one day workshop to learn her tricks of the trade! In this
workshop you will take a blank, pre-sewn table runner and transform it
into a washable work of art! In addition to learning to mix colour and
use textile medium to ensure the washability and colour fastness of your
piece, Pipi will also share with you her unique sense of colour and
design. No experience necessary; these fun and interactive sessions make
for a great day out with the girls. Remember - there are no mistakes,
only happy surprises!

Some call it
intuitive painting, some call it process painting, some call it
expressive or spontaneous painting. Essentially, they all mean the same
thing - meeting the canvas with no expectation of what the final outcome
will be. Painting without getting attached, letting the brushes or
fingers or other mark making tools have free
rein, and observing what unfolds. This process produces surprising
results, as your subconscious mind takes over from your conscious mind,
often times revealing hidden parts of yourself to you. The sheer bliss
of moving the colour on the canvas is incredibly liberating.
Join Lesley for this 2 day workshop and explore the delightful and liberating process of intuitive painting. Allow your inner creative guide to lead, and marvel at what appears on the canvas. Using a multi-layered approach that incorporates acrylic paints, collage, stenciling and mark making, you will discover your own unique style while creating artwork that has personal meaning for you. This process is incredibly exhilarating and Lesley's favorite way to paint!
