"To Dream a Better World"
Pipi and Lesley created this piece collaboratively for an art show about community at the Inspire Shawnigan Art and Culture Collective this spring entitled "Together." They have decided to donate the painting, which is acrylic on canvas and measures 24 x 36, to Cops For Cancer's Tour de Rock live and silent auction. The auction will be held at the premiere fund raising event, a gala dinner and dance at the Union Club in Victoria, on September 6th, 2013.
Tour de Rock is a two week bicycle trip in which a team of police officers ride from the north end of Vancouver Island to the south, a distance of 1000 kilometres, to raise money to fight childhood cancer.
